GARAGEKUNGENīs   PLAYGROUND

WELCOME TO THIS HUMBLE CONTEST - opened for everybody...

Here I am going to present the simple rules of our humble contest, and on the next side I will present those who want to participate in this plain challenge. If You want to join, just mail me and tell me a little of your project, your schedule and your goals, a picture to rest the eyes on while waiting for the " killer " to hit the street would not hurt...

If You donīt want your name to figure in this site, just let me know and I will only write in what town the car will run free...

The challenge grow from same long time calls over the phone with a good friend ( Alf Hansson ) and was originally formed in this way:

THE FASTEST DAILY DRIVEN, ON PUMPED GAS, STREET LEGAL STREETRACER IN SWEDEN.

What do we mean buy that? - Simple, You just have to drive the car at the street in the same equipment You use when You race, ( of course  You are allowed to lift out the pick-nick basket from the trunk.) When driving the car on streets it should be running on ordinary pumped gas ( race fuel is allowed when You are on racing ground ) Street legal is ,like all of us know, a mostly wide definition. As far as we see it, it is okay as long as You can meet the flat feet without start sweating or leaving  the place with some big tickets...

About USING A TRAILER: when the race is far away ( more than 2 hours ride one way ) we think it is only natural to transport tools, slicks, fuel, etc. etc. on a trailer - if possible, towed by the race car...

And now a short presentation of the people who have dared to enter the challenge. The original thought was to show the time slip and some comments, after the toy had proven itself. There ainīt going to be any clean winner of this competition - no price money ever paid.

- Just the feeling to have fun and share experiences with other fellow racers will be the award in this competition - finally against Yourself ( and Your own goals ) as the greatest challenge.
